Mac App Sandbox - missing CD/DVD burning entitlement

Summary:

Apps that use DiscRecording or IOKit to burn CDs or DVDs cannot be used inside Sandbox.

Steps to Reproduce:

Create entitlements file in Xcode GUI for Mac app project

Expected Results:

Entitlement requesting CD/DVD burner access via DiscRecording and/or IOKit

Actual Results:

No such entitlement exists

I would like to update DubPlate (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dubplate/id409514028?mt=12) for Sandbox compliance by the given deadline but its core functionality revolves around DiscRecording.

This is a follow up to Bug ID# 10419489. After further investigation it has been determined that this is a known issue, which is currently being investigated by engineering. This issue has been filed in our bug database under the original Bug ID# 10125007. The original bug number being used to track this duplicate issue can be found in the Related Problem section of your bug report's Problem Detail view.
