iBooks 2: Can't go back to library when opening a new Book

When using the new iBooks 2, and opening a "new" Book (like for example a Book made with iBooks Author or "my first ABC" or the "Life" book), you end up only seeing the "linen background" (grey) and have no ways to go back to the library!

I should mention I'm not the only one to see this bug:
