Command Line Tools update fails

Summary:

After an update to Xcode 4.3.2 (4E2002) the update of the command line tools fails with the following error:

"XXX does not have access to Command Line Tools."

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Launch Xcode
2. Open Preferences
3. Select Downloads Tab
4. Select Components Tab
5. Hit Update for Command Line Tools

Expected Results:

The Command Line Tools are Updated

Actual Results:

The update fails with the following error:
"XXX does not have access to Command Line Tools."

This issue has been verified as resolved and can be closed.

Engineering believes this issue has been resolved.  Please try updating the Command Line Tools once again from within Xcode.

The issue is fixed and I was able to update the command line tools without the mentioned xcode-select trick.

I believe a colleague worked around a similar problem with 4.3.1 with "sudo /usr/bin/xcode-select -switch /Applications/Xcode.app" (or wherever your Xcode.app is).
