Launchpad search is not contrast enough for grey wallpapers

Summary: When desktop wallpaper is overall grey and Launchpad is launched, it is difficult to distinguish symbols in its search input field. Steps to Reproduce: set grey wallpaper, e.g. standard "Ducks on a Misty Pond". Open Launchpad, type something in the search field of Launchpad. Expected Results: User can distinguish symbols typed in the search field. Actual Results: Symbols in search input field are low-contrast and indistinguishable.
