Summary:

Instruments often cannot find the symbols (dSYM) for programs when launched from Xcode.

Steps to Reproduce:

Profile a program in Xcode (Cmd-I).
Run Instruments.
Look in the callstack

Expected Results:

The symbols for the Program Under Test should be visible.

Actual Results:

They are not available until you resymbolicate. This generally has to be done every time Instruments is relaunched.
