Summary:
Please support IMAP IDLE on iOS. With Google removing support for ActiveSync from non corporate customers there will be reduced usability of google mail accounts on iOS.

There may also be issues with the automatic setup of gmail accounts as I thin iOS default to Active Sync when selecting gmail on accounts setup.
