SUMMARY: If a folder with a dot inside the filename is created inside an ubiquity container, Spotlight fails to index files inside the folder. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: - Create a folder inside an ubiquity container that has a dot in its filename mkdir ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/com~apple~TextEdit/Documents/foo.bar - Place a text file inside the folder echo "Strawberry" >~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/com~apple~TextEdit/Documents/foo.bar/some.txt - Import the text file mdimport -d 4 ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/com~apple~TextEdit/Documents/foo.bar/some.txt EXPECTED RESULTS: "some.txt" should be imported ACTUAL RESULTS: "some.txt" is not imported.
