Summary: SceneKit currently only support OpenGL 2.1 legacy profile. Please add support for OpenGL 3.2 core profile. One practical reason for this is so we can use GLKBaseEffect in node renderer delegates. Steps to Reproduce: Set up a SceneKit scene using SCNView. Expected Results: glGetString(GL_VERSION) should return 3.2 Core. Use of GLKBaseEffect in a node renderer delegate callback should work. Actual Results: When an SCNView openGLContext is the current context, glGetString(GL_VERSION) returns 2.1. Also, attempts to use GLKBaseEffect in a node renderer delegate callback fails. Regression: n/a Notes: Reference devforum discussion https://devforums.apple.com/thread/180740?tstart=0
