Summary: I currently hold an iPhone 5 (iOS 7 Beta) with a resolution of 320x568 (640x1136 retina). However when I set a startup image I have to make it 640x1096 else it gets ignored. Which is ok if you set "apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style" to default or a solid black, but it's NOT ok if you set it to black-translucent. Now if I start the web application as standalone, I get a white border of 20 pixels when starting up. Steps to Reproduce: Create a web document with the following in the header: <meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1.0 maximum-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no" /> <meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style" content="black-translucent" /> <meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes" /> <link rel="apple-touch-startup-image" href="apple-touch-startup-640x1136.png" media="(device-width:320px) and (device-height:568px) and (-webkit-device-pixel-ratio:2) and (orientation:portrait )"> Expected Results: It will be ignored. Actual Results: It should display the full image. Regression: Notes: Also it would be nice if you could hide the status bar in web application but that should be a different topic ;) 02-Jul-2013 12:35 AM Apple Developer Bug Reporting Team : This bug has been closed as Duplicate.
