20-Jun-2013 10:52 AM Heath Borders: Summary: I created a new iPad project with Xcode5, and the target selector only allows me to select "My Mac 64-bit". I'm running OSX 10.8.4 and also have Xcode 4.6.3 installed from the app store. I'm running a 6-month-old retina MacBook Pro. I should be right in the middle of the happy path. :( Steps to Reproduce: File->New->Project...->iOS->Empty Application Choose Devices: iPad Expected Results: The target selector should allow me to run on the iOS Simulator or on an iOS Device. Actual Results: The target selector only allows me to select "My Mac 64-bit". I can't run the project. According to the release notes, Xcode5 has no iPad simulator support whatsoever. This is not a bug.
If I adjust the deployment target to iOS6, I can run on an attached device, but I still can't run on any simulators. I've installed all the available simulators.
