Half of the battery icon is duplicated on the left side of the battery menu extra. Please see attached screen recording for a demonstration of the issue (also uploaded to http://youtu.be/evtVSJ7OMX0; a still image capture of the bug is also at http://i.imgur.com/YzTzB9x.png).

Notes:

Observed on an 11" Macbook Air purchased new in November 2011 and another brand new 11" Air purchased in July 2013, both running OS X 10.8.4.
