Apple should work with the Department of Justice to improve the usability of AMBER Alerts on the iPhone. • Alerts should include an action which provides more information • The alert sound can be dangerous if being played over a car stereo • Do Not Disturb is causing many people to turn off the alerts A more detailed analysis can be found here: http://furbo.org/2013/08/06/amber-alert-usability/
