Product:iPad SDK Product Version:7.0
Classification:Severe bug Reproducible:Always

Summary:

When the accessibility inspector is enabled in the iPad simulator, both my apps and the built-in apps crash during or shortly after opening. Sometimes the console shows the error 'Terminating in response to backboardd's termination'

Steps to Reproduce:

• Enable the accessibility inspector
• Open an app
• If the app opens, attempt to use it

Expected Results:

The app should open and be usable.

Actual Results:

The app crashes.

Regression:

Unknown. The bug was present in iOS 7 beta 4; I did not notice it before that but I may not have enabled the accessibility inspector.

Comments

Works for me. I wasn't actually running the App Store version of Xcode. I am stupid.

App Store Bad, developer.apple.com/downloads good

Xcode Version 5.0 (5A1412) from the app store still has the problem, but Xcode Version 5.0.1 (5A2053) from downloads is ok.
