Our app icons have a white border (similar to traffic signs). Due to the new border radius in iOS 7, we need to specify different icons for iOS 6 and 7. However, the 58x58 icon is used both on iOS 7 (Settings) and iOS 6 (spotlight, settings). This leaves us with the question to design for only one OS release and have an ugly icon with a non-matching border radius on the other OS release.

My Response
The problem still persists.
Also, how should that be resolved? I saw no new documentation how to specifically target iOS 7 with the 58*58 icon.
ADR response
Please verify this issue in iOS 7.0.4 GM (Build: 11B554a) and reply back with your results.
… AFAIK you don't have to put 58x58 and you can just let iOS scale the iOS 6/iOS 7 icon for you.
