iOS 7: Newsstand's background blur disappears after tapping on a magazine

Summary:
On iPad 3, Newsstand blurred background changes to non-blurred background (gradient "shelves" only) after tapping on one of the apps there.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Newsstand
2. tap on a magazine/newspaper

Expected Results:


Actual Results:
The background changes oddly.

The background also oddly appears non-blurred when closing a Newsstand app with a 5-finger pinch-in gesture (this appears related to rdar://15007133 )
