Bring the NSComparisonMethods informal protocol to iOS

Mac developers benefit from this informal protocol to make code more readable. For example:

  [aDate isLessThan:anotherDate]

is much more readable than:

  [aDate compare:anotherDate] == NSOrderedAscending

or

  [aDate isEqual:[aDate earlierDate:anotherDate]]

iOS developers should have it just as easy.
