Xcode SCM Operations (mostly Push) Blocks the UI

If the amount of things you have to push is big that's a terrible blocker. The "Commit 22 Files ans Push" button becomes grayed out and all you can do is sit there and watch, instead of being able to further code and be informed later when the push is done.
