No sound after computer sleep

Summary:
After wake up, OS X Mavericks sometimes provides no sound. Before audio starts there is only "sound click" and after audio end there is again "sound click". When audio is played it sounds like without amplifying speakers. Before Mavericks I've never experienced this problem. See attached recorded audio file.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put Mac with OS X Mavericks installed on sleep.
2. Wake up.
3. Play something from iTunes.
4. Sometimes there will be no sound.

Expected Results:
There should audio playback.

Actual Results:
There is no audio playback, only sound clicks.

Version:
OS X Mavericks 10.9.0, 10.9.1.

Configuration:
Mac Book Pro Late 2008, newest Mac Book Air.
