403 on accepting calendar invites to an alternate email address

Summary:
When trying to accept an invite sent from another iCloud user to a non-iCloud email address that is an alternate email on my iCloud account, I cannot accept or reject the invitation. Instead, I get a 403 error every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a Gmail address to an iCloud account
2. Invite that gmail address to an event from a different iCloud account
3. On the first iCloud account, try to accept the invite.

Expected Results:
The invite is accepted.

Actual Results:
iCloud throws a 403 error.
