Appearance in ABPersonViewController

If I call [self.window setTintColor:[UIColor blueColor]] this will effect "tintable" objects in ABPersonViewController. But if I call [[UILabel appearance] setFont:[UIFont fontWithName:@"Futura-Medium" size:14.0]] that will not effect ABPersonViewController. It would be useful if we could adjust fonts and sizes in ABPersonViewController to make it work with our app design.
