Debug View Hierarchy crashes Xcode if a MKMapView is in the hierarchy

I've a quite complex view hierarchy including multiple MKMapViews. As soon as I activate the debug view hierarchy button Xcode crashes.

If I remove all MKMapViews from the view hierarchy before, Xcode doesn't crash.

The error still occurs reproducibly in Xcode 6.4 6E35b. I've logged it as a new rdar://22020729

Apple response

The original report on the issue, Bug ID 17318229, was closed and the resolution is “Fixed in Xcode 6”.

If you still see the issue, please file a new bug report on a current shipping release and please include fresh diagnostics.
