Attaching to Instruments kernel panics iPhone 4

Summary:
Every time I try to attach instruments to my iPhone 4, it kernel panics and crashes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect iPhone 4 to computer
2. Select iPhone 4 as device in Xcode
3. Run > Profile
4. Wait ~2 seconds, iPhone 4 will crash

Expected Results:
I should be able to run Instruments on my iPhone 4

Actual Results:
iPhone 4 kernel panics and reboots.

Version:
OS X 10.9.4, Xcode 5.1.1 (5B1008)
