Server response cannot parsed during adding my Apple ID to accounts in Xcode

Summary:
It is not possible for me to add a AppleID to the Xcode account preferences.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Xcode
2. Open Xcode preferences
3. Select 'Accounts' view
4. Select '+' to add a new AppleID
5. Enter credentials in the opened dialog
6. Select 'Add' button

Expected Results:
New AppleID added.

Actual Results:
Error dialog (see attachment 3-error-dialog.tiff) with the text 'Could not parse server's response as a plist' comes up. The new AppleID is _not_ added.
