Color profiles created in third-party apps display an incorrect black point in MacOS Preview and Quick Look

 
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a colour profile using a third-party app/device (e.g. DisplayCal or i1 Profiler)
2. Enable the new colour profile
3. Open a photo in Preview or Quick Look to observe incorrect black point (e.g. in shadows)
