ViewController that presented Current Context Modal disappears

Summary: I have a UITabBarController which hosts a UINavigationController as first tab. The rootViewController of the navigation controller presents a current context modal. When I switch to the other tab and back before dismissing the modal the presenting viewController is gone. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open attached Demo 2. Press "Show Modal" button in first tab 3. Switch to second tab 4. Switch back to first tab 5. Press "Dismiss Modal" button Expected Results: The first viewController (the one with the "show modal" button) is shown Actual Results: Black tab because the viewController is gone.
