Summary:
When using the Zoom Accessibility feature (ctrl-two finger swipe) with a multiple monitor arrangement, the performance is awful, far worse than Mavericks. In some cases the response is 1FPS or less.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Arrange multiple monitors. The monitor type may or may not matter, not enough testing yet.
2. Turn on scroll zooming: System Preferences > Accessibility > Zoom > Use scroll gesture with modifier keys to zoom
3. Zoom in on something.

Expected Results:
Under Mavericks the performance of this was 30fps or better. It felt like 60fps, honestly.

Actual Results:
The display zooms choppily and slowly.

Version:
10.10

Notes:

Configuration:
My monitor configuration, from left to right:

- Apple Thunderbolt Display
- Apple Retina Macbook Pro
- Apple Cinema Display 30"

Updated to the public release of Yosemite last night.

Comments

I'm also seeing this with Yosemite from the App Store and a 27" Thunderbolt display to the left of my 13" Retina MacBook Pro.
