OS X keeps appending "(2)" to computer name

Summary: With multiple Macs on the network, with Yosemite, it seems that something causes the name to get a number placed after it. There is a thread on Macrumors here: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1804719 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have multiple macs on the network 2. Over time, the Mac name in the sidebar of Finder as well as under sharing will get a number next to it 3. That number can keep incrementing Expected Results: No number should be added Actual Results: A number is added such as (2) or (3) Version: 10.10 (14A389)

Thread referenced has multiple workarounds. Currently the one I'm using that has worked is turning off Wake for Wifi Network Access.
