Hostname changing constantly under Yosemite

Summary: A "(#)" is being suffixed onto my hostname after upgrading to Yosemite. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Yosemite 2. Wait Expected Results: hostname doesn't change Actual Results: hostname changes. Version: 10.10 (14A389) Notes: Relevant log entry. That MAC address in question is my Airport Extreme (current generation with 802.11ac). An external Time Machine drive is attached. 10/21/14 8:36:47.000 PM kernel[0]: en1 duplicate IP address 10.0.1.2 sent from address <snip> 10/21/14 8:36:47.000 PM kernel[0]: en1 duplicate IP address 10.0.1.2 sent from address <snip> 10/21/14 8:36:47.449 PM configd[27]: DHCP en1: defending IP 10.0.1.2 against BonjourSleepProxy <snip> 1 (of 5) 10/21/14 8:36:47.450 PM configd[27]: DHCP en1: defending IP 10.0.1.2 against BonjourSleepProxy <snip> 2 (of 5) Configuration: MacBook Pro Early 2009 connected via wifi to an 802.11ac Airport Extreme. Other devices on network include other Apple laptops running 10.9, an Apple TV, and a nest thermostat.
