Enterprise App after update to iOS 8 no longer installable

Summary:
An existing Enterprise App installation on iOS 7 was working fine.

An upgrade to iOS 8 prevents installing update to the same application even if the application is deleted a new install is no longer possible.

Steps to Reproduce:
Install Enterprise Application on iOS 7
Upgrade to iOS 8
Try to install the same application

Expected Results:
Successful installation

Actual Results:
No visual feedback of an installation try, the logfiles produce the following error, even when the application was deleted:
