Summary:
Mail hangs the entire application while displaying a message with thousands of recipients.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached message in Mail on Yosemite.
2. Wait.

Expected Results:
The message displays immediately, or processing does not block the entire application.

Actual Results:
Mail blocks any user interaction for many seconds to minutes.

Mail 8.1 (1993) / OS X 10.10.1 (14B25)

Notes:
The Quick Look importer did not take more than a second or so to display this message.

Mail in OS X 10.8 takes about a second to display this message.

Configuration:
Mac mini Late 2012, 2.6 GHz Core i7, 16 GB RAM, Intel HD4000
