Summary:
I work right next to a building where I used to work. The wi-fi network for the old building was still saved in my phone, and sometimes when walking to and from work would be joined by my phone, since it extends outside. Lately, however, the Wi-Fi password was changed, so every time I’m on my phone and I walk next to the building, I get prompted for the password. I don’t know what the new password is, however, so I can’t join the network. There is no UI on iOS that I can see to get to the “Forget This Network” button unless I connect to it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Join a Wi-Fi network on an iOS device.
2. Turn Wi-Fi off on the device.
3. Change the password of the network.
4. Turn Wi-Fi on on the device.

Expected Results:
When prompted for the password once attempting to join the saved network fails, you will have the option to remove that network from your list of saved networks.

Actual Results:
Every single time your device tries to connect to the network, it will prompt you for a password.

Version:
iOS 8.1.2 [12B440]

Have you tried Keychain Access?

You may have a way to remove the network, but it will only work if you have iCloud Keychain enabled and access to a Mac with syncs the same iCloud Keychain. (1). On the Mac, open Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access (2). Go into the iCloud seciton (3). The Wi-Fi password should be stored as an "AirPort network password", with the name being the SSID of the network. (4). Delete the record (5). Wait for iCloud Keychain to sync across devices. (Automatically but not instantaneous, not user trigger-able) (6). Test by walking next to the building.

If you haven't enabled iCloud Keychain, doing so will add all iPhone saved Wi-Fi's to the Keychain, which makes it easier to manage from a Mac.

Let me know if it helps!
