bugreporter.apple.com: can't login using Safari

I can't login to bugreporter.apple.com using Safari 8.0.4 (10600.4.10.7) on OS X 10.10.2. I'm stuck at the login screen. When clicking "Login" I'm taken to the same login screen. Note that there is no red error message for an incorrect password. If I intentionally type in a wrong password that error message does appear.

Login using Chrome works just fine.

The problem does not occur when changing the system language from German to English. So to reproduce, please switch to German.
