Apps that produce local notifications not showing in Settings->Notifications

Summary: I am an iOS app developer, my app (Hourly - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/hourly/id415727230?mt=8 ) is getting a string of bad reviews from people who are saying that the app does not work and does not appear in Settings->Notifications. I have found a forum thread of people saying that the same thing is happening with other apps that use local UILocalNotification: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6638176 Steps to Reproduce: I have not yet discovered a reliable way to reproduce this, unfortunately Expected Results: Hourly is listed in Settings->Notifications Actual Results: Hourly is not listed in Settings->Notifications Version: Various iOS 8.x versions Notes: Apologies for the vagueness of this report :( Configuration: Various iPhones Attachments:
