Summary:
If Swift’s stdlib specified a FloatingPointArithmeticType analogous to IntegerArithmeticType, conformed to by Float, Double, Float80, (and CGFloat), you could do generic operations over Float/Double/Float80/CGFloat. For example, I could make a Lens to multiply/divide by some constant of floating point type, generic over the floating point arithmetic type.
