| Classification: | API | Reproducible: | Always |
Converting a color into the L*a*b* colorspace (either by loading a ICC profile or generating the L*a*b* colorspace via CGColorSpaceCreateLab(whitepoint, blackpoint, range) does not work anymore. Creating the colorspace from the the ICC generic LAB profile results in an app crash. Using CGColorSpaceCreateLab to create the colorspace and converting results in wrong values. The L component is always 100. This bug currently only effects 10.11 (15A178w) El Capitan.

Partly fixed
Converting L*ab color with default API CGColorSpaceCreateLab was fixed. Loading a ICC profile with the Lab colorspace was not.
I close this bug and resubmit a new one, b/c this may be an issue with new file access right management on OS X 10.11
