Summary:
If a window's root view controller is a vanilla UITabBarController containing a vanilla UISplitViewController containing vanilla UINavigationControllers containing vanilla UITableViewControllers, the table view only extends underneath the navigation bar or the tab bar in either the master view or the detail view, not both.

Steps to Reproduce:
1a.With the iPad in portrait mode, open and run the enclosed TestMasterDetail.xcodeproj, then rotate to landscape mode.

OR

1b. With the iPad in landscape mode, open and run the enclosed TestMasterDetail.xcodeproj.

Expected Results:
1a. Red table view cells extending under tab bar and navigation bar in detail view just as they do in master view.

OR

1b. Red table view cells extending under tab bar and navigation bar in master view just as they do in detail view.
 


Actual Results:
1a. Red table view cells only extending under tab bar and navigation bar in master view, not the detail view.

OR

1b. Red table view cells only extending under tab bar and navigation bar in detail view, not the master view.

Notes:
If you take the UITabBarController out of the equation, the table views are laid out correctly. (Change "BOOL tabBar = YES;" to "BOOL tabBar = NO;" in -[AppDelegate application:didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:].)
