Summary: When a user hits the play button in Photos to start a slideshow, Photos will return false for "slideshow running" and stop slideshow/next slide/previous slide won't work. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run this script into Script Editor: tell application "Photos" delay 10 set slideShowRunning to slideshow running stop slideshow (slideShowRunning) end tell 2. Start a slideshow in Photos within 9 seconds of starting the script Expected Results: 1. Slideshow is stopped 2. Result in Script Editor displays as true Actual Results: 1. Slideshow continues running 2. Result in Script Editor displays as false Regression: This always occurs. Notes: This is a deal breaker for remote control software that wants to provide control over slideshows.
