| Classification: | Serious Bug | Reproducible: | Always |
Summary:
When the Photos library window has been expanded to full screen mode, its window is no longer visible to UI scripting.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Expand Photos library window to full screen mode.
2. Run this script in Script Editor:
tell application "System Events"
tell process "Photos"
windows
end tell
end tell
Expected Results:
I'd expect Script Editor to show this as a result:
{window 1 of application process "Photos" of application "System Events"}
Actual Results:
Instead, Script Editor show this as a result:
{}
Regression:
This always occurs.
Notes:
This issue makes it impossible for third party apps to trigger actions in Photos that are only exposed via the UI, but not via the AppleScript dictionary.
