Signing out and in again breaks items added to My Music from Apple Music.

Product:iTunes Product Version:12.2.1.16
Classification:Bug Reproducible:Always

Summary:
Signing out of the iTunes Store and back in causes the songs and albums added to my Library from Apple Music to get stuck in a limbo. The songs are still considered to be in my library and I can't add them, but they also don't appear anywhere, so I can't remove them.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add tracks to "My Music".
2. Sign out of iTunes.
3. Sign back into iTunes using the same Apple ID.

Expected Results:
The tracks I added should still be displayed as part of My Music, or alternatively, the tracks are not included in My Music and instead are able to be added again.

Actual Results:
The tracks are not displayed. If you navigate back to the song in Apple Music, the song is shown as already being part of My Music, and so the option to add it is not displayed.

Version:
OS X Mavericks 10.10.4, iTunes 12.2.1.16

It would seem that no, it was not checked. Checking the box did, in fact, restore the items.

With that in mind, I would like to point out that, prior to signing out, it had been checked, and that most of the tracks I had added to My Music were also downloaded to my computer. My seemingly unconscious assumption was that signing back in would restore all of library to the way it was before, and even if it didn't, the songs that I had downloaded locally should still have appeared.

In essence:

  • I had tracks in my library, so I couldn't add them again. But I also couldn't see them anywhere (other than Apple Music).
  • I was able to see a button to add new tracks to my library, and apparently clicking it prompts me to turn on iCloud Music Library, but there's no such indication or suggestion for the tracks I have added.
  • Signing back in should have restored my iCloud Music Library setting, or at least prompted me to do so.
