Keyboard - strange appearance during form input

Summary:
During user input into a pop-up sign-in form, the keyboard on the ipad partially disappears

Steps to Reproduce:
Download The Times ipad app from App store
User is asked to sign in or sign up in a pop-up
aFter completing first field and moving to next field, the right hand part of the keyboard disappears

Expected Results:
Keyboard should not change

Actual Results:
Keyboard right hand side partially disappears

iOS 9 public beta

Notes:
i have seen this in other situations as well, but this is a simple way to reproduce.


Configuration:
iPd Air 1 32gb wifi
