TestFlight ought to be available for Mac apps

TestFlight is only supported for iOS apps, and not available on the Mac. Nor are AdHoc provisioning profiles available that would allow apps that use, say, some iCloud capabilities, be distributed with relative ease to beta testers. Related: rdar://21966533 Notes: This stuff is important. Good tools make development easier. Easier development leads to better quality apps. And better quality app ecosystem leads to more Macs sold.
