Summary:
I’m unable to install simulator runtimes with the latest Xcode 7 beta 7A192o on 10.11 15A263e.
Always fails with the error shown in the screenshot: “Could not download and install iOS 8.4 Simulator. Authorization is required to install the packages.”
Steps to Reproduce:
Install a simulator runtime in the download section in Xcode’s settings
Expected Results:
installs without error
Actual Results:
doesn’t install, error displayed
Regression:
this worked with previous Xcode versions
Notes:
This showed up in the syslog:
