1. Go to any other folder on your computer, other than the main (~) home folder.
2. Enter Time Machine.
3. See what happens.

Expected Results:
The current folder I am in and entering TM from to persist and stay.

Actual Results:
The folder abruptly changes to the (~) folder.

Version:
10.11.0 (build 15A284)

Notes:
This happened with Mavericks (10.9.0 - 10.9.5) in 2013 - I reported this; you can see an active report under my username. This was not fixed in Mavericks - BUT Yosemite (10.10.0 - 10.10.5) fixed this, and it worked perfectly. Now, the problem is back.

Another update:

The exact same issues persist in 10.11.2 (15C50).

Update:

I updated to 10.11.1 (15B42), and the issue still persists. See updated video, this is running 10.11.1. Sometimes, after exiting the Time Machine UI, Finder 'freezes' with a spinning beachball. The duration of this depends; it was brief in this video, as you can see, but took a minute to unfreeze another time.

See attached, updated video.
