Mac OS X 10.11: Cursor leaves artifacts behind when using El Capitan's Accessibility Zoom

The artifacts don’t appear in screenshots, but if you are on 10.11, enabled Accessibility Zoom, zoom then move the cursor, it leaves behind trails of small artifacts.
