MobileSafari: can't select 1st item in multiple option select box

Summary:
In a form with a multiple select box, the first option can be selected in the picker. However, as soon as the picker is closed it's deselected. So the selection doesn't persist.

Steps to Reproduce:
Open a web page with the following HTML

<form>
	<select name="ios[]" multiple size="11">
		<option>iPhone 6s</option>
		<option>iPhone 6</option>
		<option>iPhone 5s</option>
	</select>
</form>

Try to select iPhone 6s and iPhone 6. Then close the picker.

Expected Results:
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6 stay selected.

Actual Results:
Only iPhone 6 is selected.

Notes:
Safari on OS X doesn't exhibit this behavior.
