CloudKit: Query for publicDB not working without iCloud login on Simulator

Whenever I do a CKDatabase().performQuery, I get 2 kinds of CKError: "Internal Error" (1/1000); "Received a didCompleteWithError without receiving a response from the server" or "Internal Error" (1/4000); "Couldn't send a valid signature”
