iPhone locked screen hangs on opening the control centre

Summary:
The locked screen hangs when you scroll any notification and try pulling up the control centre

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Lock iPhone screen
2. Make sure you have an on screen notification
3. Scroll down and release and during that time pull up the control centre

Expected Results:
The control centre should open smoothly without freezing

Actual Results:
Locked screen gets frozen

Notes:
This gets resolved once you press the lock button and re press it.
