Summary:
SF Mono is glorious and should be available to any monospaced usecase.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Xcode, or Terminal.
Weep in ecstasy at the wonderful SF Mono Regular.
Jump to BBEdit to use it there.
-or-
Jump to Mail to use it for plain-text messages.
Open the font picker.
Expected Results:
SF Mono is in the font collection. You can use it everywhere you might want to.
Actual Results:
SF Mono isn’t listed. Nor are any of the “San Francisco” families.
