When deleting photos or adding faces in Photos, changes are not immediately reflected

Summary:
I've tried adding faces as well as deleting photos, but the changes do not appear unless a tab change (for example, from People to All Photos, then back to People) takes place.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import photos
2. Delete some of them
3. After confirming ("Do you want to move it to the Trash?, etc"), no change occurs
4. Switch to another tab (for example, "All Photos")
5. Switch back to "Last Import"
6. Changes show up
Expected Results:
The UI updates immediately
Actual Results:
The UI does not change until the tab is switched
