Unable to clear notification while animating

Summary:
When clearing many notifications, it becomes very difficult because the "clear" button that appears when sliding to the left is unresponsive until after the animation is complete

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open notification center
2. Slide left on a notification and immediately press the "clear" button

Expected Results:
Notification clears despite the animation being incomplete

Actual Results:
"clear" button is unresponsive, and user has to tap "clear" button a second time to actually dismiss the notification
